The season’s first landing at the Snow Hill emperor colony
We’re excited to announce we’ve made the first Snow Hill Island landing of the 2023-24 Antarctic season, visiting one of Earth’s largest emperor penguin colonies.
We reach this remote site via helicopter from our vessel Ortelius, landing a safe distance from the colony before hiking in for views of the penguins, chicks, and breathtaking landscapes.
